EC Web CMS Architecture
EC Web CMS is built on .NET 3.5 and SQL Server database technology providing users with ease of use, ease of access and high performance.
The architecture of the system facilitates simple integration with existing systems.
It has a layered architecture; various components and modules are independently maintained and integrated in order to use the content management system effectively.
Library
There is an extensive centralized library which is accessed by all components. This facilitates easy maintenance of a system solution.
Core system
Web page management, templates, modules and site specific custom components are built as the foundation for the entire system.
Module Management
EC Web is designed to add new modules and functionality as business needs arise. Each module has three components: an “Editor System”, a “Rendering System” and a “List of web services”.
Product System
The Product system provides extensive category, product and package management, with a comprehensive administration interface. It also provides simple integration with third party systems.
E-Commerce system
This is a dependent component of the Product system, which takes care of shopping basket session management, the order process, payment gateways and the integration of custom business logic.
User System
Create and manage individual users and user groups. Assign role-based access and control authorization for users to access the entire site or only specific areas within the site.
