Automatic real-time data update

Product Categories

Categories can be organized within the EC WEB product system and can be renamed without affecting the original Navision categories. Any further updates to the products in these categories are managed without any data loss.

Product Attributes

Product attributes from the client ERP system can be mapped to EC Web standard properties, such as product name, abstract, content, price, stock etc., using NES standards.

Product Variants

Multiple product variants are replicated as individual products to the EC Web product system. Packages are created with all the possible combinations of variants and can be edited without affecting the source database.

Stock Update

For any changes to the product catalogue an update message is sent to EC WEB using the replicator. Stock is deducted and orders are placed both in the EC WEB and Navision systems when a customer confirms a purchase.

Customer Registration

Automatically register customers in Navision when placing an order from the online store. User registration is initiated from the store with all mandatory fields and stored in both the EC Web CMS and Navision systems.

Centralized Accounting

All financial information used in the ERP system is supported by the store. All transactions made through the store follow the standard functionality within the ERP system.

Discounts and Special Offers

Centrally manage offers and special pricing across all sales channels. Special offers and prices handled within the ERP are grouped as new discount groups and replicated to the store,

Differential Pricing

A product can have various prices for different markets or customers. Rules set in Navision are replicated back to the store.

Currencies

The Product system supports different currencies for localized pricing. User locations are determined, based on IP addresses, and localization is set, including the language to be used.

Improved customer service

Order Status

The status of all previous orders [registered, paid, picked, shipped and cancelled orders] is shown in the customer’s account, with the full order details as stored in Navision.

Order Returns

EC Shop can be configured to set a maximum time for order cancellations. Customers can cancel orders from the order history page, which will be updated in Navision in the same way as for the creation of a new order.

Order Tracking

Navision replicates the tracking number from the transporter when the order is shipped, and this is shown in the customer account information.

Email Notifications

Navision manages order cancellations and sends an email notification to the customer. The status is replicated to the store as for any other order status.
