Four main components build up the standard replication functionality to integrate updates/changes from the Navision to your online store:
The Ec Nav plug-in is a twofold solution for fully integrating with Navision through a web based application. One part of the solution is a monitor system checking for any updates or changes made in Navision to items, customers or any other configured data. When any data changes, an event is triggered that outputs the changes in an update xml document. This is used to synchronize with third party systems. It is fully configurable in Navision monitoring, whose fields trigger a new output xml, avoiding unnecessary updates when trivial data is changed.
The other part of the EC Nav plug-in is a web service interface to provide direct access to Navision business logic and information on demand.
This is a Windows service which listens for catalogue updates and transfers details to EC Web replicator through the Replication Server and runs in a client environment.
Centralized server which accepts catalog update documents from EC Replicator and redirects to EC Web Replicator. It runs in a website host environment.
Accepts catalogue updates and other documents from ECReplicator and interacts with the EC Web CMS system to replicate the catalog. It runs in a website host environment.
