Life Sports & Health Club (www.lshc.se) provides its members with health tests, training, motivation and products. Customers can register for free and join the Club. As a member, you logon to the website with access to a personal profile page, Web-based health tests, exercise, chat, blog, great deals from Life and its partners, the ability to book such as sportsevent, daily news on nutrition, fitness and health as well as tips and advice from the most successful sports profiles, and more.
LSHC, which is primarily an online service, is a strategic investment for Life Europe and launched in full on February 23. Life has hired Johanna Sjöberg, elite swimmer with 12 years in the national team and trained health pedagogue, for blogging and work with service and content on the Club. There is also collaboration with RenIdrott, where several of the athletes in Swedish national team will be involved in LSHC.
Klas-Göran Pettersson, web project manager at Life says: "EC Software has througout the project proved a big focus on delivery and sensitivity to the rapid changes and challenges that the project ever been subjected. Without their help the rapid pace of development has not been possible."
EC Software has developed the entire site and the various advanced features such as web testing and training. Whole LSHC is developed in the system EC Web and hosted on the same platform as Life's regular web site and e-store. "The advantage of using a single platform is that we can quickly build new services and linking news, products and even users in the various services in a flexible manner", says Project Manager Frida Bergman at EC Software.
